Once again the OPCYC will set sail for York River Yacht Haven for the annual 4th of July cruise. YRYH is one of the most popular cruising destinations on the Bay. Since the 4th is on a Wednesday this year, our basic plans will focus on the 3rd and the 4th, although some cruisers will certainly arrive early or stay late. The folks at YRYH know we are coming, but other clubs are cruising there as well. To be safe, please make your slip reservation with them soon (804-642-2156) and mention that you are a member of OCYC at the time. So that other Pointers can see who is joining the cruise and to help us plan, please register for the cruise below. Also, you may send me an email at seajack@pfg-va.net to add you to the list. We’ll plan for docktails at the pool on the 3rd and a cookout at the pool on the 4th. Naturally, we’ll do our best to protect some space at the pool for “anytime” gathering, too. The weatherman has guaranteed SE at 10 for the 3rd and NE at 10 on the 5th, so the sailing should be perfect for us. No excuses for not signing up.
