Program: Chris Moore, Science Advocate for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF).<br>
Chris will be discussing the current activities of the CBF, focusing on projects in Sarah?s Creek, and the York River, as well as the John Smith Water Trail. Chris also serves as Virginia?s finfish fisheries scientist. His work is currently focused on fisheries issues, oyster restoration efforts, grassroots development and coordination, and water quality. In addition Chris is a US Coast Licensed Captain and runs educational and restoration trips for volunteers, media and decision makers. Please join us and find out how CBF is improving the Bay, and opportunities for us all to become conservers of this beautiful natural resource.<br>
Social and Dinner begins at 6:30 PM. Following dinner, there will be a very brief business meeting to discuss new member initiation fees and the Youth Sailing Program.<br>
Potluck Dinner: Members A ? F: Green Salad Members G ? N: Dessert Members O ? Z: Heavy Appetizers Beer, Wine, and other beverages will be available.<br>
*Note change of meeting night during the boating season to accommodate the many members who get out on the water for the weekend. This is great opportunity to attend the meeting, and then stay onboard Friday night for an early departure on Saturday.
